This earthy and unassuming handmade wedding invitation card looks simply stunning the more you look at it. The deep chocolate card and the skeleton leaf gives a very earthy feel to the card. But upon adding the luxurious satin ribbon and sparkling starfish, the wedding invitation now exudes a whole new feel that is both alluring and exquisite in it's own quiet ways.

The wedding invitation wordings are printed on a pearlescent white paper, as this creates a better contrast against the deep chocolate base.

Pastel peonies wedding invitation

Another popular flower for weddings are peonies. Peonies embody romance and prosperity and are regarded as a sign of good fortune and happy marriage. It's also known as 'fu gui fa' or 'flower of riches and honour' and is used symbolically in Chinese art.

We came out with this design for a bride who wanted to incorporate this lovely flower onto her wedding invitations and used pastel pink as the main focal colour. We used the same flower design on the back of the card and added a map.

You are my sunshine birthday card

We had an order for a happy sunny summer themed birthday card and this was the result. We used paper doily which is slightly over sized and dotted the corner with cut out paper and mulberry flowers. We kept the background simple so as not to overshadow the pattern on the doily.
